The Parks Center is the perfect place for galas and fundraisers of all different styles and sizes. Events of up to 300 are welcome to use any of our public spaces, from intimate affairs in the library, to grand occasions in the ballroom.
Overlooking Meridian Hill/ Malcolm X Park, utilize the terrace on the second floor and garden on the south end to create a relaxed, indoor/ outdoor feel. Set up your silent auction in one room, your bar in another, and your buffet across the hall, allowing for mingling and migrating throughout the second floor, or even throughout the entire mansion.
Private events are booked a la carte, with your choice of rooms and add ons like a/v, wood burning fireplaces, and uplighting. All rentals include use of our variety of event tables, including high tops for cocktails, and all of our gold chivari chairs. It’s all here!
